Cold Spring Weather Is Good For Cooking Maple Syrup

The midwest is still getting cold spring weather and sporadic snow storms. Most people are tired of the winter-like weather, but syrup producers are still cooking their spring crop. The weather conditions for each syrup producer might vary enough to give them a better or worse crop than their neighbors. Since Wisconsin is still having cold temperatures with no big warm-up soon, maple syrup producers will be cooking a little while longer. Don't forget to keep equipment clean during long cooking sessions.
